Shri Shishir Dhamija, is an IRS, Officer from 1991 batch. He is native of Delhi. He graduated in Pharmacy (Hons.) from BITS Pilani, Rajasthan and then pursued Masters in Biotechnology from JNU Delhi. He was pursuing research in Bio-Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi, while he got selected by UPSC and joined the Indian Revenue Service at NADT Nagpur in 1991. Since then, he has served in various important roles and senior positions in cities across India including Delhi, Pune, Ranchi, Mumbai and Jamshedpur making major contributions to the Revenue Service in diverse fields of Assessments, Investigations, Tax Systems, Appeals, Dispute Resolution for cross border taxation etc. While in service he has pursued Advanced Diploma in Enterprise Management from AIMA, Delhi and has also attended mid-career training programs at MDI Gurgaon, IIM Ahmedabad and Duke University, North Carolina USA. As evident he has vast knowledge and experience in Tax Administration and is a very competent and devoted public servant. The officer has joined on promotion as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Panaji on 17.10.2024.

Smt. Vandana Sagar, is an IRS officer from 1992 batch. Born in 1969, Smt. Vandana Sagar hails from Chandigarh. The officer did M. Phil (Economics) from Punjab University, Chandigarh. On completion of training, she was posted to Madhya Pradesh charge. Thereafter the officer worked in various capacities in the charges of Mumbai, Karnataka & Goa and Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry. Shri Sanjay Kumar, IRS, assumed charge as the Director General of Income Tax (Investigation), Karnataka & Goa Region, Bengaluru, on 11th May, 2026. In this capacity, he supervises the Investigation Wing and the Central Charges of the Karnataka & Goa Region. A 1992-batch officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Shri Sanjay Kumar holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Director General of Income Tax (Systems), where he was responsible for overseeing key initiatives relating to the Centralized Processing Centre (CPC) and the Income Tax Business Application (ITBA). During his tenure, several important initiatives were undertaken in the areas of ITR filing and processing through CPC, demand management, ITBA computation and accounting, and the implementation of the New Income Tax Act, 2025. Over the course of his distinguished career, Shri Sanjay Kumar has served in various capacities across a wide range of functions, including Assessment, Investigation, TDS, Advance Pricing Agreements (APA), Administration, and Representation before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT). He has held assignments in several parts of the country, including Bengaluru, Patna, Ranchi, Mumbai, and Chennai, and brings with him extensive experience in tax administration and enforcement.

Shri Manjit Singh belonging to 1992 Batch of IRS Officers is currently serving as Chief Commissioner of Income Tax(TDS), Bengaluru. Shri Manjit Singh is M.A in Political Science from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He has served at various places like Mumbai, North East Region, North West Region, Kochi (Kerala), Kolkata and is now posted at Bengaluru. Shri Manjit Singh has handled assignments like Investigation Wing, TDS vertical as CIT(TDS), DIT(I&CI), CIT(Admin.), Faceless Charges, JAO charges and ITAT in his long career of more than 30 years.

Recipient of “Finance Minister Award 2022” and “Principal CCIT, Mumbai Certificate of Merit 2023” Shri Anand Mohan, is an Officer of 1993 Batch of Indian Revenue Service. Born in 1967, the Officer is M.Sc.Tech. from IIT-ISM, Dhanbad (Gold medallist), M. Phil. (JNU), LL.B. (Gold medallist), LL.M. in International Trade law and WTO (NLU. Jodhpur) and LL.M. in Business Law (CCS University, Meerut). Shri Anand Mohan is also recipient of “Certificate of Appreciation” on two occasions for introducing Best Practices and implementation of New Investigation Techniques in the departmental publication “Let Us Share”. Shri Anand Mohan took over the charge of Director General of Income Tax (Systems), Bangalore on 11th May 2026. The Officer was posted as the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (Central), Kanpur and on promotion joined as Director General of Income of Tax (Systems), Bengaluru. The Officer worked in various capacities in Gujarat, Mumbai and U.P. (West) regions. The Officer has attended mid-career training programme for IRS officers at IIM Ahmedabad, MDI Gurugram and Duke University, North Carolina, USA. He has also attended training programmes in Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management from Manchester University, UK and International Tanning Program on Financial Management from NIFM, Faridabad & ICPE, Slovenia.
